Course Title: Pain Assessment and Management
Course length 3 to 6 hours
Maximum number to attend 12
The course can be delivered as a 3 or 6 hour course. The 3 hour course provides a basic overview whereas the full 6 hours provides more in depth knowledge for up to 12 delegates.
This course is aimed at all staff working within Health and Social Care.
The course aims to raise awareness and increase knowledge around the anatomy and physiology of pain, identify differences between acute and chronic pain and discuss pain management.

At the end of the training session, there is a written assessment to evidence the learning of the attendees.
