CKD is a long-term condition that is not just a sign of getting older. Some people are more susceptible to chronic kidney disease but it can affect anyone. CKD is where they kidneys do not work as well as they should and is often the result of another condition that puts strain on the kidneys.
This training course will give you knowledge and understanding on the anatomy and physiology of the kidneys, what CKD is and who is affected, common signs and symptoms, associated conditions, and look at treatments and support available.
