Maximum number to attend 20 – 60, up to 20 delegates per course
This course is aimed at all health and social care staff.
At the end of the training session, there is a short-written assessment to evidence the learning of the attendees.

Hearing and Vision problems
Thyroid issues
Infections
Dementia
Support available
Identify the multi-disciplinary teams who may be involved in supporting individuals with Downs Syndrome including:
Speech and Language Therapist
Physiotherapist
Occupational Therapist
GPs including regular health checks
Relationships and Fertility
Discuss the support that may be required for individuals with Downs Syndrome to lead an independent life which may include relationships and having a family of their own.
