Course Description:
Catheter care training is aimed at people working in health and care settings. We cover everything from anatomy and infection control, to procedures and record keeping. The second part of this training course covers Bladder Washouts, how to do them correctly, when they are required, and what happens with sediment build-up.
At Training2Care we keep a keen focus on infection control and look at the risks of infection when dealing with catheters. We also support staff to be mindful of privacy, dignity, and respect, through using person centred care when dealing with catheters which can be a sensitive subject for some.
