Morgan suffers from Autism so we wanted to get his feedback on the Autism Reality Experience. The Aim of the Autism Reality Experience is allow anyone to get a better understanding of the challenges faced by those with conditions on the Autism Spectrum! In this short video we get Morgan's reaction to the Autism Experience:
"I just went into the Autism Experience and I feel it was very good" he starts. He continues by saying "sometimes I've got so many things to do and so little time to do it and sometimes the complete opposite". This is typical of the sensory overload experienced by sufferers of Autism and associated conditions which can lead to them becoming distressed and feeling unable to cope.
Morgan contines by saying "Some people say 'I know how you feel' but they don't and it's sort of a step into what it's really like and people would be surprised at what it's like. This reinforces what we are trying to achieve with the Autism Reality Experience. We want everyone, be they carers, family members or health professionals achieve a better understanding of what it's like to live with this condition. This can then help them to provide better care and support for those affected.
We want to thank Morgan for taking time to give his valuable insight and opinion on the Autism Reality Experience. You can find out more about the Autism Reality Experience at our website and get more opinions and reviews from those who have undergone the experience.
