Home Instead Maidenhead, Henley & Wallingford have been supporting local people live well in their own homes since 2012 with both hourly and live in care.
The expert homecare provided by our compassionate and experienced team gives family members and friends the peace of mind that their loved one is being supported safely and consistently with outstanding care.
Our knowledgeable Care Professionals are carefully selected to match our clients resulting in a trusting relationship that many of our clients term as having a “new member of the family”. We have an exceptional team, who live by our core values of trustworthiness, integrity, reliability and honesty.
Communication between our Care Professionals, our office team and clients and their families ensure all needs are meet and by seeing the same Care Professional at the same agreed time, we provide continuity of care – we get to know your routines, your likes and dislikes. In short, we work with you to provide tailored, personalised care based on what you want and need, all at the time when you need us to be there.
Our support is flexible. It can be ongoing or short term, while you recover from an operation or while your family caregiver visits a friend for a few days, safe in the knowledge that they have a trained professional at home supporting their loved one. We can visit from just once a week to four times a day; we can support just overnights or you can have a specially selected Care Professional live with you at home, helping you keep your independence whilst still receiving the care and support you need. All this, delivered with empathy and dignity.
We are dementia specialists, with many of our team having achieved the City and Guilds Accreditation in dementia care. We are also members of a number of Dementia Friendly steering groups – we are genuinely focussed on enhancing the lives of those living with dementia and increasing awareness and understanding within the community.
Home Instead Maidenhead, Henley & Wallingford are an award-winning team. This year alone, we have won Twyford Business of The Year 2024, achieved the Care Service Recognition Award from the Berkshire Care Association and one of our amazing Care Professionals received the prestigious Berkshire Care Worker of the Year Award 2024.
We understand there’s no place like home and with Home Instead Maidenhead, Henley & Wallingford, we can support you to stay living well, in familiar surroundings, in the place you love… your own home.

The Virtual Dementia Tour...
The life changing Virtual Dementia Tour is a worldwide, scientifically and medically proven method of giving a person with a healthy brain and experience of what dementia might be like, allows delegates to enter the world of the person and understand which simple changes need to be made to their practice and environment to really improve lives of people with dementia.
Invented 25 years ago in America by Professor PK Beville and owned by Second Wind Dreams, Training 2 CARE are proud to be the UK partners and pioneers in this country. The Virtual Dementia Tour has now been proven during research produced by Ulster University to change practice within 95% of delegates, improve knowledge in 97% of delegates and improve outcomes for 100% of clients.
The Virtual Dementia Tour is taken by over 200,000 people per year in the UK and is the benchmark training that other providers strive to achieve. Already commissioned by over 18 NHS Trusts, 4 HSE Trusts, Care homes, Nursing Homes, Police, Prisons, Ambulance, Universities and Colleges, Councils, CCGs, CQC, Electric and Water Companies, Families and many more, the Virtual Dementia Tour has an impact that just cannot be matched or replicated.
Looking from the persons point of view and not basing practice on convenience really does save money, retain staff, build bridges between the family and care giver and increase positive outcomes. Therefore, if you are looking for the highest quality dementia training that really does change lives for all, then the Virtual Dementia Tour is a must for everyone.
