Course Description:
This training is covered in three main sections. The introduction will discuss what conflict resolution is, common causes of conflict and anger triggers, how our attitude changes our behaviour, the fight or flight response, and defining terminology surrounding conflict.
The course will then look at communication, how humans communicate, and communication models to diffuse conflict. We then look at assessments and incident reporting and discuss Dynamic and Threat Assessments, what the law says about the Use of Force, and why reporting incidents is absolutely vital.
